I quick ran to the King Soopers grocery store to get myself some milk and cereal. I'm sure you who know me can guess what I got...
After a jethrow bodine sized bowl of cereal, Richard and I were off to work. My tasks were this.
Remove 8 small trees from what will become a garden
Replant 6 of them along the East edge of the garage
Put the remaining two into buckets to be given away.
Till up the new garden area (approx. 3' x 30', 4"-6" till depth)
Doesn't sound like too much, but, if you have ever dug up a tree, you know to keep a good root-ball and to get as many roots as possible.
These were evergreens. Boom.
I am Strong like Bull (insert Russian accent)
Richard chose to till up a large area of dead grass. This guy is a trooper. One hard working sombitch.
This was Richards area today. (along with helping me out a little.)
This is the finished garden area behind me.
Here are 6 of the 8 trees. I think it looks amazing. I must say... I am a darn good Landscaper. You can't even tell that they WEREN'T there 6 hours ago.
I worked really hard today. Got some sun. But most off, I had many awesome conversations with Richard and learned alot about the inner-arborist of him. He is very knowledgeable.
We had planned to come in at 4:30, eat a little bit, then go back and finish up. But great minds think alike and him and I both agreed that we were cashed for the day. We worked for about 6 hours, nearly straight. So we were satisfied over what we accomplished.
Now, its about 6:30. I will probably be going to Johnny's Cigar Bar tonight. Lets hope my back keeps up with me!
Goodbye for now Errbody!
