Thursday was AWESOME!!!

So...yes. I did lapse a day from blogging. I'm sorry. But yesterday (Thursday the 4th) was so busy and awesome I didn't have time to do it!

Alas, here I go!

So I woke up at about 8:30 and Richard and I decided to go have breakfast at Ihop. Breakfast was wonderful! It was my first of many heart-to-hearts I believe I will have with my Uncle. He is an incredible man that I have more in common with than I ever thought. We talked about life, the future, the past. All things I never thought I would talk to him about. Breakfast was delicious too. I had so much food...I offered to pay the bill, which Richard was surprised at, but accepted it.

We get back to the house and I changed clothes quick and I was off again to golf! I went to Flatirons again-this time no pictures. I played 18 holes.

Good GOD it was not a good day golfing. The front-9 was worse than my previous Sundays round as I shot a +15. (compared to +11)

Then came the shit show. I quickly, but not quick enough, discovered that I am a 9-hole player.

Not a single par. No. Not one. Four snowmen, a quad-bogey, a triple-bogey, one double-boginator, and 2 bogeys. What did I shoot?

+26. Twenty fucking six. (Sorry for the cursing.)

That's all I have to say about that.

After my struggle, I went back to the McCullough abode and layed in the sun room for a few minutes. Richard and I again shared a meal talking about the world, some politics, mostly N. Korea, more about life, ups and downs, plans for the evening. He is truly an incredible person. So insightful and intelligent. I really do enjoy his company!

Following dinner, I helped clean up and I was again on my way!

I went back to the Cigar shop in Boulder (I am really beginning to like it there) and stole a seat in the lounge to enjoy my "usual" Rocky Patel Maduro and a tall I.P.A.

I got a free shot after the Nuggets won the game. I don't even like basketball, but cant say no to a free shot.

Leaning back in the over sized comfy chairs, I see a very interesting fella walk in. It seemed like he owned the place.

He took his spot at the poker table, got out the chips, and invited me to play. I couldn't refuse-being so intrigued with this guy. An older gentleman with an Irish cap on. A certain swag about him.

We begin playing Hold 'Em and I almost immediately start to lose my (fake) money. I was nicknamed "Wisconsin," for obvious reasons. I only won 3 hands. each was chip-worth about $4,000. Boom.
BUT in the end, and after a very fast 2 hours, Ali (the interesting fellows name) ended up taking all my money. Actually, all of everyone's money. That seemed like a good time to leave! By this point it was midnight.

I eventually made my way back to the hookah bar, where I got an extremely warm welcome from the friends I had made only a few nights earlier! More relaxing. More hookah. More Wii golf. More laughter. We left at round-abouts 2:30am.

This time I was invited to "come chill" with the new friends. Sha ZAM. I didn't say no...and maybe I should have...

Nothing bad happened, but when people want to know about you, all of the sudden it becomes 7 in the morning and you are still awake. I passed out on a couch til 11:30. Watched some tube. Went home. By 2:30pm.

Good GOD almighty. What an adventure. It is only 3:15 pm right now. Who knows where I will be or what I will be doing.

But it will be oooooooo-tay!
