It was my first time EVER on a mountain to snowboard! After only 3 hours of sleep and a bowl of cereal, a 1.5 hour drive, we were there. Such an incredible experience!! Being 13,000 ft. up on a mountain is so fantastic.
Getting above tree-line is just magical. The sky opens up and you look around to 20 pure white mountain peaks. The lift taking you close to the top of the one you are on!! It was scary the first time, but damn I had a blast!
Btw...be grateful I had a helmet. I am...
Soooo exhausted though. Not as much oxygen up there!
Enjoy the pics! (even though they do it no justice.)

| That really small lift (if you can see it) Took you to the peak. That was for the ppl who were really good. Obviously not me. |
| This is not even half way up. Just over that ridge the whole sky opens up and you can see EVERYTHING. (Yes...I saw Wisconsin) |
| SEE I WORE A HELMET. And no shit it saved me. Seriously. Twice. |
| Of course this is what a snowboarder from Wisconsin eats for lunch. |
| Caffeine and lack of adequate oxygen. |
| Pretty sure I took a fantastic digger just to the right of the pole. I was cruising fast and tried to cut. The back lip of the board decided to catch and I landed so hard on my back and head. Flipped over and landed on the board though!!!! No shit.(Yay f***ing helmet...) |

| This is one of my faves. I am at the top of my run...I think it was 13,000 ft. The whole run was 2.2 miles long!!! |
| It took 10-15 minutes to get up this thing! At one point I was laying in the chair lift with my eyes closed. I'se verry turrd t'day. |
Amazing!!! Colorado is my favorite place to snowboard... Definitely puts Wisconsin to shame! Love all of the pictures.
